The length of a code doesn't necessarily have a relation to its quality.
If the program does a lot of stuff, it will naturally be longer.
Just look for tasks that you can and want to solve, and solve them.
Gradually they'll become longer and more complicated naturally.

I didn't even know there exists a person titled best programmer ; )
Maybe you are reading the code in a mobile device? it is tedious to do if so. Using big screen to view long codes isn't as much troubling though, less scrolling up/down and text size relatively bigger (easier on the eyes).
Wait until you have to manage multiple files in a project, things could get even more messy unless we have an IDE or something to help us on that part.
Don't feel bad about big codes, maybe now you're not too comfortable with it. But if you're persistent you'll be looking at big codes with ease in the future. I stand by my point about big screens though : )

There is no best programmer. There are comfortable and confident programmers but no one best programmer. Infact, if a programmer has competition or a rival, it is usually with him/herself.
Some people go to bed thinking of code and dreaming about it only to wake up next morning to try and solve a coding problem they have. A programmer never stops learning and can always learn something new from a noob up to a pro.
Look at code, read, try some simple code. The excitement of getting a result makes you progress to try and tweak and grow your new found code.
Don't run unless you can walk. Take your time. The most important part of coding are errors and mistakes! I have made better code after lots of mistakes and once built a better database after accidentally deleting it.
If i didn't delete it, the database was boring, after rebuilding it, it got better with things i hadn't thought of.
The only person that can make you feel bad, is you. Most programmers can make you feel good by inspiring you.

There are multiple to ways to Programming on different level..
if they're not professional "declaring every class files & others within a single program"..
But the professionals declare different class as different class files & run them all in a single file..
So it based on their level of experience..
Although,in companies, people put a team to share together their work..
So be confidentâș

You are right, code must be short. Those who write long codes are juniors. Occasionally they will see things clearly.
