There's a few different methods and it depends on your database.

SQL Server:
Select Top 1 *
From TableName

MySQL:
Select *
From TableName
Limit 1
(I've never used it but apparently PandaSQL uses this method)

Oracle:
Select *
From TableName
Fetch Next 1 Rows Only
