If all you want to support is Android, I'd go with Kotlin. It has support by Google so you will be able to do anything other apps do. If you want to support other platforms and are willing to risk picking something that might become unsupported in the future plus have limitations on those platforms, you can try Python. Note that some past Python choices are no longer viable so any of todays choices might join them.

Java was king for Android development. Now, the chosen language (by Google) is Kotlin.

Python and Android is not a good match. Can you do it? Kinda. Kivy and Ren'Py allow you to do some, but it's experimental. Depending on the libraries you use it won't compile. For Android you have the following options:
Java/Kotlin and Android Studio
Dart and Flutter
C# and Xamarim with Visual Studio
JavaScript and ReactNative
These are the good options.

Where in Python comes first best software programming language with combination of few different computer software languages along with android applications, Google platform for mobile, web designing software & development strategies work.
Python3 wins rather Kotlin.
Python3 for android app/game development.
Its works & that is true.
