Help needed from linux users
I am trying to install "MX linux" on dual boot with windows 8.1 I found it is recommened that we should backup system and all the files on computer. I have a lot of files where can i backup.. It was also recommened to format pendrive to install by flash drive. Please anyone give me the solution

Help in what exactly ? It's better to have backup in case you mess up your system during installation, if you don't want to backup everything then pnly backup the system files and your most important ones.

Aymane Boukrouh [Inactive] Can i backup in D drive? I want to install linux on E drive. should i need two pendrive to backup. One is for installation(formatted pendrive) and another for backup?

If you're going to install on a DIFFERENT drive, not just a partition of your drive, then backup is not really needed (make sure to double check the drive name before any action).
If you still want to make sure you're safe, then yes you need to drives, one big enough to hold your backup, and another usb flash drive of around 8gb, or even less for ligher version, to install MX .

Try virtualization rather than dualboot.
