What is Unreal and Unity engine?

Question

Can somebody tell me what are those? I've just heard people talking about it but I still don't know what are them and what does C# and C++ have to do in all.

They both are game developing engine.
C# is used in unity to program your game, while in unreal engine c++ is used as a primary language.

Unity is perfect for beginner you can make 3d, 2d and apps for android. Unity is also very popular for most the games Ubisoft own that are assassin's Creed and etc

Unreal engine is the best software for 3d game development. But it requires little bit knowledge of game engines and game which is developed on unreal engine is DOOM, fortnite, etc
