A website that could host me?

I absolutely love SoloLearn and want to try out my new skills on a real website. Wix and WordPress both looked nice, but I want to create my own. Any ideas on where I can find one (did a web search but TMI)? Thanks!

i didn't do an extensive research but bluehost, hostgator, networksolutions, hostinger... they seem to be the most preferred ones. a final word: take also a look at what your webhost supports. for example support for php, sql (database) and even CMS (content management system) like Joomla or WordPress (if you want to implement WordPress on your own site but customize it)

Then you should apply for a webhost. So that you have your own space. Don't forget to buy a domain name. And you're ready to go! Critical questions are: How much space do you need? What will be your bandwidth? (Visitors and how much data is transferred etc.) Do you need extra services? (Statistics, subdomains etc.)
