In what ways are Computer Science classes in colleges similar and different to SoloLearn?

I am wondering what the CS courses, specifically at Digipen, University of Utah, and RIT are like. I haven't gone to a shadow day at any of the schools because I don't like missing school. How are the courses taught? I know that there are project courses spent in teams of people in large computer labs, and I know that there isn't much, if any time spent in lecture halls. However, I don't know specifically how the material is taught. I'm asking these questions because the textbook-like approach to SoloLearn doesn't entirely work for me, and I'm curious to see if I will have similar struggles in college.
