Which Linux Distribution I need?

Well guys, I was thinking about changing my OS from my computer. My computer runs Wnidows 7 Home Basic, but it runs it very slow. I'm interested in learning how to use a console, and, I want a distro which I can use the console for daily use but with a lot of programs can I install (for example: Mozilla Firefox). And well, Which programming language is needed to any distro? Or is different in each one? (Sorry for grammar mistakes. I'm learning English)

Another option could be to use an application called virtualbox (there are others but I have been using virtualbox) . It can be installed on windows and allows you to create a virtual machine with a Linux OS using your computer resources. It will help you to get used to using Linux. You can learn a lot this way and make as many mistakes as you want (or don't want). You can easily start over and create another instance as required. Either way you will learn a lot by doing it. Then when you are more familiar with a Linux OS, you can decide which distro to install as a replacement for your Windows OS.

Compare your machine's parameters to the minimum requirements of each distribution. What can I recommend for weaker machines: Linux LIte Xubuntu

The most reliable way to run Mac apps on Linux is through a virtual machine with a free, open-source hyper visor application like Virtual Box, you can run macOS on a virtual device on your Linux machine. A properly-installed virtualized macOS environment will run all macOS apps without issue. If want to learn Linux and make career as Linux developer then visit: https://www.cetpainfotech.com/technology/Linux-Training
