What is the exact use of comments.

Comments are written into your code to clarify complicated code, leave notes, and provide documentation for your workplace (Ex: Who wrote it and when, business name, purpose/use of code, etc.) These comments are helpful for whoever else works on the code, including yourself, if it ever has to be looked over again. With HTML pages, though, the copy uploaded to the internet is usually free of comments and whitespace, to make the filesize smaller, and the copy that's worked has comments.

it's for programmer's understanding with the code. Thats why programmer use comments

Notes for other developers/future yourself. Or just some code which you want to keep but not use at current state

in company Sometime If a person left job then new employee can know about the code using comment....Or can change the module easily
