How can i make user input password hidden with asterisk in python

I did a test on my iOS device with getpass, as well as with re-defining the output to a different output.
3.6 - does not work properly, it echos the input on the terminal. A warning message is printed, that pointed out that issue.
2.7 - it does work as expected
