Which language should I code in to make an app for both Android and IOS?

You can use JavaScript. By learning JavaScript you can learn ReactNative and from that you can build both iOS and Android app with the same source code. So learn JavaScipt than ReactNative. I have also heard that from C# by which you can build both iOS and Android

fyi, you use Xamarin if you want to use C#. it gives you the ability make cross-platform apps with it
