If you want to hack networks study networks if you want to hack web pages learn how build them and how a web server works and if you want to hack apps learn the fundamentals for app dev.after that start with a hacking course this might include using special software to use in order for you to find vulnerbilities or exploits you could use kali and virtual machines to practice.sololearn is for development not so much for hacking you could go to other places like youtube udemy or other specific websites that could teach you....keep in mind that to actually learn you might need to invest pay for the knowledge....tip: dont lose time on talks and wannabies also dont lose time on tutorials or courses that are old like from 2008 2010 ...look for fresh content...good luck never give up.when you become a good hacker help people who want to learn how to hack...

Ipang yes no institution encourages for hacking...but you should know how to protect your system and database from them...and without knowing them you shouldn't be prevent yourself from them...so you should have to know what hacking is...how it will be done...and how to protect system from them so firewall is created and developed ...because you don't know when your system becomes the target of hacker.... I never prefer to arm the children with weapons...or never prefer to hack someone's account or something else but you should have the knowledge how it will be done so you can take precautions and protect your code system and database ... As you know....half knowledge is dangerous...you should know what the cons are and how it affect your system and how to protect .. That's all i want to tell.. Might be the explanation and ideology of mine is different from yours but we both want to protect system.. Me by knowing them...and you prefer not to teach by anyone.. 😅

Kumar Devashish Are you suggesting to arm "children"? it sounds like you encourage such ideas by mentioning weapons. If you can guarantee there will be no incidents arising from arming "children" with weapons then go ahead. AFAIK there is no guarantee. "Hacking is actually part of computer science in which the programmers uses the cons of programming" No educational institution should encourage the use of "cons". Ethical hacking (the question topic) is not being taught in college or university. Maybe your place makes an exception I don't know. There are places and course providers that serve such purposes. But they go beyond the techniques, they develop the mentality so those who learn it knows when to use the "weapon" and how to use them in an appropriate manner. That's the idea about ethical. Now, can you guarantee the ethical part of this "hacking" stuffs in SoloLearn, or elsewhere?

Sorry guys .... Don't argue with each other....I am just trying to know the opinion about ethical hacking that how much people accept it and how much doesn't. So ethical hackers are those who can access any data from the system with permission and they work like white hat hackers. All hackers are not bad. So thanks all for your opinion.

Kumar Devashish Save the explanation, SoloLearn is a place to learn programming, and this forum main topic is also about programming. Who told you hacking is part of computer science? your professor? you better have a strong proof for your claim that hacking is part of computer science. At least show in which curriculum you see hacking in computer science. And will you hold responsible when someone end up in trouble from trying up on this hacking idea? a mentor is responsible for their disciples deeds, you know that.

Ipang what u know about ....so what u say about weapon they used for increase the territory and destruction also....it also used for defence from the opponents... Hacking is actually the part of computer science in which the programmers uses the cons of programming.... When we write a code there are pros and con in every program...they uses cons nothing else.. everywhere there are some people who did wrong and goes to negetive part it doesn't mean that this part of education should be dropped or to be removed from the computer science .... it is a programming and every programming should be a part of computer science...

"Me by knowing them...and you prefer not to teach by anyone.." Very bright judgment, well good luck with teaching. A lot of people had claim they are to teach good things but end up the other way around, it depends on the intentions, and what they after. As you said, and for one point I agree, I don't support the idea of teaching "children" to use weapons. Until I know they can control themselves not to abuse it, in a way which only gets themselves into trouble. Protecting system is important, but protecting the young from possible accidents out of "weapon" usage is far more important. And we can always disagree ✌
