Can you transform a windows 7 professional to Linux?

Well of course you can. But I mean how and is it worth it? I want to make it a server for my discord bot and a website. I really like Linux but as windows runs Hella slow on my server I wonder if it's worth the change and if I'm still possible to run what I desire. Also is there a Linux version to run steam for some reason?

Yes. Linux is way faster and more stable, and it has the added benefit of being free. If you want to run a server, you should get a dedicated pc for it, not use a personal use one (I know this from experience). Steam does work on Linux, and even made its own linux based steam OS (As Manual mentioned).
