Why are there questions in challenges with incorrect answers?

I don’t mind being wrong in situations where I am actually wrong. With that said, I’ve encountered a few questions in where the answers were either vague or incorrect. For an example, I got a question wrong because I was unable to see the space in between the quotes. Then there was another question where I was certain that the “correct” answer in it was wrong. Why is this becoming a common occurrence? And before you ask, yes, I reported the questions and haven’t heard back since.

More often than not, whenever I thought a riddle was wrong, I found out later that I was wrong myself. Sometimes they are quite tricky. However, there are wrong riddles, I agree with that, and I also have the impression that they got more in number. I wonder why? Since they've long since stopped accepting any new riddles, why should they hurriedly approve of bad riddles without proper checking? About not hearing anything: Same old, same old.

Ive been there myself. To be honest, i still struggle with problems involving what is syntactically correct or not, especiallly if it’s something we rarely ever see. I had one recently that i thought was wrong but then realized that it was right. However, with this one, I know the answer isnt right. I also have issue with the space not being visible enough in some problems. It makes it hard to distinguish between a space character and an empty string literal.
