Is it really that bad an idea to compete without a complete weapon eg if you have not finished java and you compete using java

i have entered a couple of these competitions and i have realized that you need complete weapons

It depends. Completing the courses doesn't really reflect your competency in a weapon. A lot of times, mind math and memory play a great deal in the challenges.

it doesn't matter you could win because of math but it will be helpful to complete one.
