Am confused guys.. Java or python ? i had already started a tutorial on java but then again trends show java being phased out

Java is not going any where so you first learn java and then start the python

python increases, but java does not decrease
Python has good perspective but programs in it are still slow, and Java is strong for enterprise environment like banks.
Python has strong position in AI/ML and data Science or in science environment

Java vs Python, hmm, nice question. I don't know what you expect by learning a programming language but here is my answer to the question.

"I don't care!"

I mean literally, why do people even ask such question? What i did was simply learn both! (in my case learn all three).

You can start with Java, as there are many things which you'll have to do for yourself. Then you can move onto python.

I have done Java, c++, python, swift, and web.

Today i can only code in Java, and Python as i forgot all other(i didn't like them), while my brother did all those i mentioned along with ruby and today he mostly code in C++(JTM he can code in all though, he is illuminati)

Conclusion, start randomly on any language and see which understands you taste and "purpose".
