Which programming language would be better for me to learn open cv...Java or Python?

I know Java...but not Python..if I have to learn with python..I need to learn about python too,which is a hectic process again(as I am a self learner). So which one should I go for?

I am using python and openCv. It's awesome. I think python is better to use OpenCV.
