Ярослав Вернигора (Yaroslav Vernigora) I thought about it too, but I don't think that you can claim a website is yours just because you add a symbol at the bottom of the page.
If that was true, then anyone could copy the website and change the name next to the copyright and claim it's theirs as well. We'd never know who is the real owner in this case.
I tried to read about it online for few minutes, but I didn't understand a lot to be honest, and it was quite a complicated thing, so I just gave up searching.

insert your copyright in the form of a string using tags at the very end of each page of the site

Ярослав Вернигора (Yaroslav Vernigora) I read online that you need to apply for a registration for, and that you have to pay some money for it to be registered. So I don't know as well, and I'm also waiting for some expert to answer this question.

who and where to pay-it is unclear. okay, I still want to apply for authorship of the text, the article... but how to register the authorship of the site? maybe web studios have such an opportunity when they sell a created site to a client?

I mean suppose I made a website for a client and he had access to my code and what i had to claim that this is mine
Also if you go and check Page source on Google website then you will be not able to access as it is copyrighted
