As Sun(the oweners of java at that time) does not wanted Microsoft to make changes in java that's why Microsoft have to recreate a new language. thanks for pointing that out Omkar

Arsenic , "Basically C# is Microsoft's version of C++" ~Arsenic I think C# syntax is much similar to Java and is way much different than C++.
