The second programming language
Hello everyone, I would like to learn a second programming language, but I can't decide which one. Now I know Python. I think about java or javascript, I know that these are different languages. I want to take a language that would be used in the market and in conjunction with Python covered a wide variety of possible projects. Can you suggest something?

This is always a huge and controversial topic, but I may have the answer. After watching an hour long seminar from a python professor of 30 years (who knows almost all the languages) he came to the conclusion that the language you pick *doesn't matter*. x0
Yup, actually you need to focus on learning "programming" not "languages". Learn the core concepts and then you will be able to pick up any language easily. That being said, here's my opinion (because all you can ever get on this topic is opinions).
Learn C# or Javascript. Why? They both have the ability to really teach the concept of programming in a broad range, while also both being very versatile and usable in many scenarios. C# is widely used in gaming and is the coding language for the Unity game engine, but is also used for.... pretty much anything.
Javascript on the other hand is practically the main building block for Web development if you want anything more than a static page. And it too has many other uses. After learning these two, you can pretty much jump into any field you want and will have the ability to learn just about any language you want with ease.

If you are ready to big challange then start learn c++. There is no language with wider set of functionality. It used in game dev, in IoT, in ML and almost everywere. And also with python as prototyping language. Try different things to see contrast.
