Would you recommend this app for learning programming for freelancing and getting related jobs?
I'm a completely newbie in programming and I want to learn a few programming languages so I can make a decent amount weekly/monthly for paying rent and bills (of my single room apartment) through freelancing. I also study computer science and engineering in college (my family pays the tuition fees) and right on the first day the lecturer told us that they'll only teach Java and some basic languages but for getting good jobs we'll have to learn other languages and skills by ourselves. So would you recommend this app for me and my classmates? Also it would be nice if you suggested me some courses.

Sololearn alone will not be enough. That doesn't mean it will do harm either.
I'd just check out what the app has to offer and see if you learn something useful.
When you feel, this way of learning isn't for you, or you don't find anything worthwhile anymore, you can still move on.

Imo this app is very good to gain some basic knowledge of programming in general and if you are willing to play around with coding challenges presented here and ask for help , you can learn more... however to learn a language well enough and to be able to get a job you need to study sources outside of here, but first you need to find the language you want to learn, if your goal is to get a job right now check the jobs so you know which ones are in demand , last i checked you have good employment chances learning any one of Python, Javascript or C#, but for long term as in 10 years later or so i think Js might not stay in demand, and other languages like rust has the potential to step in,
Check the languages usage and pick the one you like most doing for a job, no need to learn many just for a freelance job, one or two would do depending on your area's demanding jobs,
As for resources to learn , there are some good websites focusing on some particular language and some presenting courses that you can also get

I would not recommend it. You only learn the basics on SoloLearn
