Yes that lesson can be really frustrating for HTML learners who don't know javascript. However, if you want to be a good web developer, you should learn that wonderful language. In the meantime you can search for an online library that makes drag and drop work easier.

Of course it is harder because JS is a programming language and not a markup language as HTML. I think you should complete JS course or ask someone explain only the drag and drop specific code. But probably you would need to learn JS anyway in the future.
