I am stuck on the JavaScript tutorial after the DOM and events. Anyone has any suggestion that I can understand the material in this section. It is confusing. Thank you

Which part exactly be really troubling?
Have you checked the comments section? I found that section to be helping somewhat. Maybe it works for you too.
And try to play with the "Try it yourself" code samples, change a bit and observe the differences, that helped me too.
