in windows10 you can run linux natively by using WSL, you'll need to activate the feature first. then download the linux of your choice from store, they have ubuntu, opensuse, fedora, kali, and maybe some more since the last time i checked. edit: here's the how-to ( https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install-win10 ) please note that some feature from linux cant fully works due the restriction from windows

There is another idea.... Buy a 10 Euro Raspberry Pi and use it remotely.... or directly if it is for studying cases.
