I'm confused about the learning curve.(web dev)

I've started to self-learn python but is in a break(my Python haven't even left the beginner level ). I'm learning it to get a job. I heard web development is a great application of python. Also I've been seeing a lot of openings for web developers. But when I looked online, I've seen that learning only python won't be useful. But it's better to Learn frontend language like HTML, CSS and JavaScript. So do I need to master HTML, CSS and JavaScript or should I know just the basics ? I'm very interested in python but saw JavaScript is more versatile so please enlighten me how python is better. And please tell me the learning curve I should follow.

Ja Play Well I'm a complete beginner so it's going to be from the start. I love ML and AI and automation. I love to develop softawares and games. I want to get a job in 2 years. That's why I'm completely confused. I see a lot of web dev opportunities out there. So if I learn python to be a back end web dev, do I need to learn HTML CSS and JavaScript?

Should I chose data science, ML, IoT directly or after a bit of time in web development?
