What do I need to learn in order to make an app?

Hey guys.

So I am a musician looking to add tech into my life.
I eventually have an idea that involves making an app for a musical purpose. Of course I can pay someone to help me with this goal but the skillset is moreso what I'm after.

So going off of my question, what languages would I need to learn in order to attain my goal?

Anybody doing it now that can direct me or even mentor? Any tips or realities or time frames when making an app?

I am getting into the basics of html and css now. I assume you have to know these before adding other languages.

Any help would be great ladies and gents.
