So far I love this but I wanted to ask your advice on what Im in for once I get to Java, PHP, and the other advanced languages?

I make a living doing local SEO and online marketing for small businesses so I've always had a basic understanding of meta tags, canonicals, redirects, etc. but I've always wanted to go further with my coding knowledge so now that I'm finally doing it, I'm having a blast. However, my little brother who's a comp-science genius told me "it's pretty fun man but once you get into the more advanced programming languages and all that, you're gonna be dealing with algorithms and all that kind of stuff so read up!"

I would say try JavaScript first since it would help your job. You can write scripts to interact with Google analytics, and ads.

Hey @tida I'm still getting the hang of analytics and all that stuff but to read your comment really gets me pumped just thinking about getting to actually use what I learn here "in the field". When you get a minute could you throw me some examples of what I'd be using JScript for? Thanks for the reply I really preciate it! AJ
