Are udemy courses useful

Very much. This is my personal opinion because I have taken a couple of courses on udemy and I find them useful and industry oriented because most of them who teach are developers themselves.

Picking up the right course depending on your interest is completely up to you since there are plenty of them teaching the same stuff.
