Python is a more user friendly language. But if you are about to start with either C or C++ I would recommend you to first start with C language since its very basic and fundamental, and it will help you a lot to understand C++ easily.

It depends on your choice whatever you want to learn. Your choice can also depend on various things like a programming field that you want to work with it. Mostly recommended you to go with python. Cause Python is easy and really incredible launguage. But web developers choose: JS/PHP, game developers: c++ & c#, mobile app developers: Java/Kolin/Swift/Hybrid app development, data science and Meachine learning:python.

every language has its advantages, so in the end it doesnt matter which you stick with. Factors such as professions or personal strengths will sway you into learning specific ones.
