it is kinda hard to explain here, but you first need to install OpenJDK. than you just need to find the installation for Linux on eclipse's website, for more in-depth answer I suggest you to search about it in Google.

Go to eclipse website and download
the eclipse for Ubuntu which version you want and copy that file into /opt folder extract that file. u need to add eclipse.desktop file in /usr/share/applications.
