Adapting old code from python 2.XXX to python 3.7

Question

Hi everione i'm a newbie and I want to transform a old code (i dont know who have make it) for run it in to python 3.7 but when i start the .py i have this message from this line :

outfile.write(fixed.encode("utf-8"))
TypeError: write() takes exactly one argument (2 given)

I don't know how i can fix it can you help me ?
