Compilation Error- cannot find ld in codeblocks, help me out please.

Question

I learnt c++ in turbo and want to switch to codeblocks and I'm facing a heck load of problems in doing so.
I got around the compiler not found error somehow but again got stuck.
It won't even run a simple hello world prog(it did run once actually).I mean, atleast just lemme get started .I just wanna be able to code and be good at it. Help me out . thanks in advance.
