With only learning HTML you can't do freelancing.you need so much knowledge for freelancing.you to need to learn CSS, javascript, jquery, bootstrap, react js or angular js for the front end. If we talk about backend you need knowledge with one backend programming.e.g python(Django or flask framework), PHP (most used for backend in web programming) or maybe c#(asp.net) for the backend of websites.
It also requires a database knowledge like SQL, SQLite , MongoDB etc you can choose one.
Freelancing is not only about knowledge of programming.it also requires great communication skills and how to work with your client properly because the different client has different needs and also require how to do time management and you also need to complete your project before the deadline of your project.so best of luck for freelancing.
