Hello guys! I am new to the coding world. I already said hello to it, but in Javascript. Was that a right decision?

Should I learn Javascript first?

Yes, if you are not sure. What you want to do. Javascript is language of choices. I mean you can do all things with javascript like mobile app development, desktop applications development game development etc. But there are some language specifically for some purposes like Java is good for Android app development, javascript is good for web development, c# and c++ is good in game development, python is good for artificial intelligence etc. As coffeeunderrun said it really depends what you want to do. But when you are confused. Then javascript is good choice

Ok so I guess I should go forward with the more general Javascript and then later take on specialized languages based on situations.
