React or angular?

I am set to study some javascript framework, but cant decide which one (and need to spend my time wisely). Should i go for a recent version of Angular (i know Angular js a bit) or bite the bullet and learn React?

If it's for getting a better job, and one of the considerations is the demand for the technology, google trends may be a good starting point to understand the popularity of each in your country: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?geo=FR&q=React,%2Fg%2F11c6w0ddw9 edit: added Vue to the comparison https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?geo=FR&q=React,%2Fg%2F11c6w0ddw9 Of course that there are other factors as well, but for the very least it's a good measure for how common is the usage in your area. As a personal note, i'm a React developer for the past 3 years or so, and while i do have some AngularJS experience, Angular 2 and higher are a complete re-write of AngularJS (tho they do share some similarities). That aside, i am quite biased toward React 😅

Personally I like vue.js more then react and angular. Because vue is open source and not owned by a company. All things you can do with react will also done by vue. Also vue is lite weight frame work it will load faster than react and angular
