How do i start programming as a beginner

Although there isnt really a fixed rule for what I am about to say I would still suggest doing it like that: Start with an easy language (I would suggest C) to start learning the basics and then slowly advance. My personal way was from C to C++ to Java. It may take a bit longer to get to the high-level languages but once you get there you will have a pretty good time keeping it going. But as I said - thats not a rule or something, just my suggestion
