Website first or straight to app?

hi, I'm going to develop an ios app, one question I ask myself is should I be developing a Web based solution first thus perfecting my html, css and js and port over to an app when gathered some traction or should I concentrate all my effort in one area ie swift?? learning modules other than swift on here has actually helped with my swift learning as I'm covering the topics over and over. thank you in advance everyone.

It depends upon your idea. If the app would achieve richer User Experience in an app, then create an app or If you want to create something available for anyone without downloading an app then create a web based solution. Also if you make an app, you should have it in both Play store and App store so that it's even accessible by people who have Android phones

User experience will be better on the app as it will used on the go. Really appreciate your comments
