Why do we have more people subscribe to C++ than python course?

Hi, I started doing python programming recently, but I noticed there are more subscribers in the C++ , I always felt python is the coding language of the future, could I be wrong... why would anyone go through the tedious syntax of C++ rather than learn the easy powerful python language which seem more incline to modern day programming

I never understood why people hype Python so much. I'd only choose Python for simple scripts which don't need good performance.

Yes, but now, not in future we still need fast and productivity language such as C++. It is also needed in microcontroller programming, and everywhere, where speed has important role. One of that reasons is that C++ is compile language.

Ever heard of Pypy and algorithmic optimisation? Not to mention you can compile Python code and it can be nearly as efficient as C code.
