I am not a computer science student or software engineering. Can I do improve in future in programming?

I've done already 70% of my course here in C and ive carefully noticed all the lessons that are given. But many people say that without the cs course I cannot prosper in programming. So is it really worth to learn programming for me not being a cs student?

Believe me, most of the users here on sololearn do not have a CS degree and me neither. All you need is a little bit of passion and self motivation. All I can say is, do not listen to what others say on what you can do or what you cannot do. Start somewhere, one step at a time and soon you will see improvement. But have patience, this is a long process.

You can prosper in programming without a degree/diploma doing personal projects and freelance work; however, it's faster to learn programming through a professional course and your chances of getting a mainstream job without professional education are way lower than with an education.
