How to ask at different times for input?

Question

In Python, you can take multiple inputs using split() after calling the user to action with input ().

I want to know if there is a way to call the user again; because, I want to have a part of the program run and then prompt the user again, then finish the rest of the program wiith more information from user (not beforehand).

Is there a way to do this? My process involved using input() twice and resulted in EOF Error at the second time using it.
