you might need java SDK (JVM and JRE are included i think) if you don't have it installed:

eclipse:

netbeans is kind of old and lacks some features others have. Intellij IDEA is the best

you can also try Intellij IDEA community edition, just that java is not bundled on 32bit version so you need to download it manually:
