I have a piece of software that can do an everyday work automatically for the user. U want to sell this to a potential buyer. Where do I find such a person online ?

If it were possible for you, perhaps it may be better to instead learn the ways to persuade non-potential buyers to become potential ones. That is where promotions and marketing agents come handy.

Alternatively, as your thread tags brought up 'innovation', you analyze what people need, and develop a product fulfilling the requirements (hopefully with some extras). That way, you knew ahead of time, your market scope and be less likely have to find ones who need your product.

But of course your persuasive ways alone is not enough, there are needs for additional support e.g. product quality, good after sales service and an open culture about inputs and critics, in order to keep improving you and your product.

That said, considering the forum topic, I hope you understand why such questions bearing less technical subject do not get as much attention : )
