Yes and no.... Most android apps have a little Java, but it's expanded Java. There are many new methods and things to learn for, I call it, "Android Java".

hey just download and install android studio from developer.android.com on windows or Linux even Mac also and also install SDK tools using built-in SDK manager on android studio and if u want to write a c/c++ code language use ndk(native development kit) available on developer.android.com eclipse is ide for c/c++ native development kit

yes you can create apps from Java but it depends on for which os for windows app you can use this it is also used for Android apps but in only Android studio
