What makes javascript a server side language?

It is mostly known for javascript to be a client side language. Which of its features makes it a server-side language?

javascript by it's self when raw can be used for alot of things but it has certain frameworks which are speciallied for certain parts like reactJs and Angular are for the clients side but frameworks like NodeJs are made for backend ie server side.
