I would always recommend blueJ for Java codes

Note ->
Steps
- For Mac users click the link and scroll down and from there click on install for iOS
- for windows users do the same click the link and scroll down and just beside the iOS version you will get the windows version.
-> if it's Ubuntu based then click on Ubuntu and it will be installed

So just click on the install and your BlueJ will be installed in your laptop
