Text Cursor

Question

Hello, I'm currently using the code playground but my text cursor isn't aligned with the actual text. It seems to be too far ahead when I type. For example, if I type the word "because" my text cursor will flash like "because l" even though when I press backspace it will delete the e. I'm not sure what is causing this issue.

Edit: I tried it on safari and the glitch is no longer there. I am not sure why it is not working on Chrome.
