I dont know if either of those languages are what you're looking for. They could both probably do what you're trying to do, but you'd probably be pioneering a lot. Perhaps you want to check out Java. However you may end up using both these languages in what you do.

C++ is one of the most powerful languages out there... probably the most powerful. However, Python (not less good than C++) is easier to learn, to write and to read; it's good for beginners.

for android apps,use java or c++,for ios use swift or objective c...Well most probably c++ is better because u have most of the control over your code unlike python which is a scripting language,it only do what has coded...And c++ is used anywhere u think a programming language ​is used..A car,Computer,Phones,Game Consoles, Everything... Python is used in many industries like biology, astronomy, chemistry, n much more... because it's suitable fot that kind of uses
