Shure you can, I code android apps and I have no knowledge of algorithms and all these data structure things

But as I progress in my learn, I will take lessons on these subjects so I can create projects that require it

dont rush it, results are nothing to the knowledge you should be trying to gain.

whats the point of making an android application when you don't even understand what you build in the first place.

the thing about most newcomers here is that they thought; having results would make you into a good programmer.
it doesn't.

following that android tutorial you followed on youtube to make yourself an android app won't make you a good programmer. it just makes you another copycat, sure you code, but you won't understand a thing about what the guy is writing and you lose the point of learning in the first place.

those tutorials are built for you to understand, not for the results. as such, having the knowledge to build an app requires you to understand the basics first.

help yourself and learn some algorithms, data structures, OOP, some design patterns then you can continue to make something like an android app.
