I am a student in Mechatronics engineering, what are the programming languages should I learn beside java?

I have an electronics background and to work with hardwares we generally prefer C/C++. For some simulation stuff you might find MATLAB and LabView very useful. Then to work with smart machines and automation kind of stuff you can learn Python because of its supporting packages. This is my personal suggestion. You can wait for others to share their views.

You may need to learn C, C++, C# LIPS, MATLAB, phython an java. But i think the most important is C++.
