I want to be a back end devloper & software engineer?

Is it possible to become a software devloper & back end devloper both? Cz i dont interested in web design.. My question is How much i need to know about web design for back end development ? Im also Doing problem solving in c.

Henry Ford Web Design is related to front-end development not back-end development and back-end developer is a part of software developer.
